LISTED COMPANY WITH ORIGINS AS A FAMILY BUSINESS Honkarakenne was founded by the Finnish Saarelainen brothers in 1958. The company was listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange in 1987. Members of the Saarelainen family still own a large portion of the company’s shares.
