With over 1,300 miles of roads, 17 community centers, 15 municipalities, and 12 school districts within its boundaries, the sense of community is strong. Also unique to Precinct 2 is the number of access points to open water, as well as the only free public beach in Harris County – Sylvan Beach Park.
