Govt School Of Mines

School of mines, is a premier technical institute of Karnataka state situated in the golden city of Karnataka. It was established in the year 1957 under the erstwhile Mysore State Government. The sprawling land of nearly 25 acres obtained from the than Kolar Gold Mines limited of Government of Mysore. School of mines is an AICTE approved institution run by the Government of Karnataka and comes under the purview of Directorate of Technical and Mining Education. The institute is rendering yeomen service to the citizens of KGF and surrounding areas by offering three years diploma program and one-year post Diploma programs in various engineering disciplines. The teaching is rendered by well qualified, trained and dedicated staff with supportive infrastructure.
