Global Dignity

Global Dignity is a US-Headquartered nonprofit organization, seeking to empower youth through dignity-based initiatives and the promotion of dignity-centered leadership. The core curriculum, developed to aid the organization in achieving its mission, draws "dignity stories"​ from each of the program participants, which are then shared in a peer-to-peer setting. These programs, known as "Dignity Days"​ are led by volunteer role models who aim to serve as facilitators in the dignity discussion, encouraging participants to key into the fundamentals of what dignity means to them and how to strengthen their dignity in order to be change makers in their own lives as well as in the lives of others. Global Dignity celebrates Global Dignity Day annually in October, where these sessions take place in more than 60 countries around the world.
