GTDS was established in July 2004 to provide specialist installation and commissioning services to the major manufacturers, National Grid and the Distribution Network Operators within the Electrical Transmission & Distribution industry.
Key management positions were filled with individuals with extensive experience gained working for recognised world leading companies within the Electrical Transmission & Distribution industry. GTDS has a highly qualified and skilled team of people offering specialist installation and commissioning services to the Electrical Transmission & Distribution industry throughout the UK. GTDS has offices in West Malling in the South East and Stafford in the Midlands. Our customers include Western Power Distribution, ABB, Alstom, Siemens, GE Energy, EDF Energy, E.ON, Balfour Beatty, McNicholas Construction, South East Electricity Alliance, AMEC, Costain, Britned, Mitsubishi, ATG Igranic, AMCO, Dong Energy, GEW2, Morgan Sindall, Schneider Electric.
During the development of our company over the last 10 years we have developed strategic alliance partners who can provide functional design specifications, design intent documentation, complete detailed design, engineering from high level concepts, construction drawing packages, protection system co ordination studies, manufacture and assembly of protection & control panels and protection & control retrofit equipment etc.
