For more than 25 years Fondazione Cariplo is ranked among the world’s most influential philanthropic institutions in the international arena. Since its establishment, the Foundation has supported thousands of non-profit organizations and projects in the fields of Arts & Culture, Scientific Research, Environment and in the Social realm, providing over €3 billion in grants over the last 25 years. Inspired by the principle of subsidiarity, Fondazione Cariplo fosters the analysis and anticipation of social needs and supports the development, testing and scaling of innovative, more effective and higher impact solutions. In 2016 Fondazione Cariplo launched 4 cross-sector high impact projects representing the state of the art of the Foundation’s mission: Cariplo Factory, AttivAree, Lacittàintorno, Cariplo Social Venture.
