FONTANA PELLETTERIE SPA is an Italian luxury Leather Goods company located in VIA TREBBIA 26, Milan, Italy. The origins of Fontana date back to 1915: the year in which Guido Pieracci founded the company in Florence, choosing a lucky name- the Fountain is a symbol of abundance and fortune. In 1945 production moved to Milan, to the via Trebbia site (in Porta Romana) which is still occupied today by the plant and factory store. Shortly afterwards Pieracci's son in law, Carlo Massa, became president; he was a man of outstanding personality, founder of Mipel and an entrepreneur with an extremely individual vision. On the impulse of the new president, Fontana's activity, which until then had focused on gift items, moved in the direction of high-profile bags: luxury creations of superior quality that Massa himself took in person to international fairs, winning over the market and constantly growing the prestige of the Company. Today the company is led by Carlo Massa's sons, Michele and Paolo, who continue the family tradition with initiative, tireless passion and expertise. The Fontana Milano 1915 collections are born in the factory/laboratory on via Trebbia in Porta Romana. Here you find the leather warehouse, the buzzing creative department and- finally- the production area, in which craftsmen and machines breathe life into the most prestigious creations, which then come to life in bright, relaxed environment.
