Doodle Productions

Doodle Productions is a creative production and design studio based in Hackney, East London. (A sister company of the creative agency Squint/Opera) We are a busy, creative team devoted to creating intelligent content for kids. We are best known for the hit animated TV series 'Messy Goes to Okido' for CBeebies. All production is done in house: from storyboarding, to animation, to editing. Born on the pages of Okido Magazine, Messy is a curious, loveable Monster. The TV show brings the character to life and explores science. Messy endeavors to find the answers to everything a 2-5-year-old child wants to know. Together with his best friends Zoe and Felix, they fly to the moon, shrink to the size of atoms and fly on the backs of giant butterflies! Messy magically transports us from the real world to the land of Okido, where he finds the answers to his questions. Why do things fall down and not up? Where do echoes come from? The aim of the series is to visually bring science to life using stories, comedy, and adventure. Messy’s questions cover all aspects of science, from nature and biology to technology, and everything in between. The first series first aired in September 2015. We are now beginning production for the second series.
