Doctors on Demand Pty Ltd is an Australian company owned by Medical Centre and IT experts. The management team have run Medical Centres for over 16 years and currently own and operate Medical Centres in Australia. Our IT partner has over a decade of experience creating online solutions for hundreds of companies including Quickbeds and Flight Centre. Our goal is to make health care more accessible and provide the ultimate patient experience by using technology to remove some of the traditional barriers that separate patients from doctors. We believe that we can help deliver massive efficiencies to the health care system by providing live access to the availability of GP's Australia wide, as well as the ability to book a Telehealth video-conference appointment with a doctor. We recognise that the traditional physical consultation is still the gold standard for medicine. However, Telehealth is a innovative tool that can help meet rural demand and areas of GP under supply by filling vacant time slots in other areas. We anticipate that the uptake of Telehealth services will also result in an unclogging of the traditional heath care system and alleviate demand on hospital emergency departments after hours.
