Dementia Adventure

Dementia Adventure is an award winning innovative charity which specialises in adventures which connect people living with dementia to nature & the great outdoors, taking positive risks. We believe in thinking differently about dementia, with the focus being on the individual (& what they can still do) & not on the illness (& on what they cannot do). We further believe people can, through activity outdoors, live well with dementia, remaining connected to nature, their families, friends, community - & enjoy a sense of adventure in their lives. We are based in Essex but work nationally and have an international following. We provide training, research, and consultancy services - all with nature in mind.
