Because of this, we seek students who are committed to personal cultivation and growth as well as to their learning. Caring for others as a profession also requires a commitment to one's self; and self-cultivation is a vital part of maintaining a balanced life. We believe it is essential that practitioners live the philosophy they teach. As such, students are encouraged to participate in regular cultivation exercises such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and meditation, always reflecting on their own development and transformation.
