The Danish Demining Group (DDG) is a Humanitarian Mine Action Unit in the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
DDG operates in some of the most fragile and conflict-affected places in the world. The focus is on those countries most affected by landmines and other Explosive Remnants of War (ERW), as well as the widespread proliferation of small arms and light weapons.
DDG seeks to utilize regional and cross-border synergies where possible and prefers to operate in countries where the Danish Refugee Council already has a presence in order to strengthen the link between DDG’s Mine Action and Armed Violence Reduction and DRC’s emergency interventions and longer-term development programmes.
