DAU is part of the DUAL Group, the largest underwriting agency in the world and Lloyd’s of London’s largest cover holder. The group comprises around 600 people in 17 countries. Together with its broking arm, DUAL forms part of Hyperion, the world’s largest majority employee owned insurance group.
DAU was established in 2013 by Phillip Oldcorn and Andrew Hillier, in partnership with Hyperion and DUAL Group. The team of highly experienced underwriters, business developers and operation staff are overseen by Managing Director Ian Keith.
DAU's core products are;
(i) Title Insurance and Legal Indemnities for residential and commercial real estate ownership and mortgage security risks around the world.
(ii) Title to shares in corporate mergers and acquisitions (in real estate and non-real estate transactions)
(iii) Executor & Inheritance insurance for risks involving inherited assets in UK and Ireland
