Delhi Stock Exchange is located in the heartland of the Indian economy and surrounded by the most promising states of India which are predominated by large number of Small and Medium Enterprises. Delhi Stock Exchange, one of the oldest stock exchanges in the country was born in the same year India got independence i.e. 1947. Since then it has played a key role in the development of the economy, facilitating investments in different sectors, new services and thereby creating Equity cult in India.

DSE has long cherished history of market integrity, expert domain and market knowledge and has been in the limelight for more than five decade of its existence. Despite competitive challenges, the Delhi Stock Exchange has continued to grow and has played an active part in country’s economy.

With the structural changes happening in the Indian capital market, all the regional Stock Exchanges including DSE had to face a turbulent period. The lofty vision of the board, the ever enthusiastic members and never say die sprit of DSE staff, converted this challenge into an opportunity and paved way to a successful demutualization process.
