Cook Building

Cook is a name that has a long association with construction in South Australia, with our lineage drawing back to W Cook Builders founded in 1912. In april 2011 Jeff Cook saw an opportunity to reinvigorate the old family business, and in conjunction with Chris Hansen, Cook Building & Development was born. Jeff and Chris as founding directors set about the establishment of this new enterprise. A small team of quality personnel was assembled to realise the dream and set about the establishment and growth of the business. In late 2012 the continued success and development of the company, saw Alex Cook take over the directorship from his father, Jeff, becoming the new managing director of Cook Building and Development. 2012 also saw Cook move to its own premises in unley on the outskirts of the CBD firmly staking its position in the South Australian construction market. The quality and skills of our staff means that Cook have the right blend of personnel to manage commercial and residential projects of any size and scale.
