Collateral Repair Project (CRP) is an international nonprofit organization that provides assistance and support to refugees and victims of war and conflict. We are located in East Amman, a neighborhood that is home to a large number of Syrian and Iraqi refugee families. We are welcoming to refugees of all nationalities.
CRP works to restore dignity and stability to refugees by ensuring that their basic food and housing needs are met. Our programming and assistance is two-fold: we run an emergency assistance program that provides food and household items to refugees with no other assistance, alongside a Community and Family Resource Center. Through our Community Center we offer English classes, support groups for teens, a craft circle for women, and other opportunities for refugees to gain valuable skills and rebuild a sense of community.
Our work is grassroots and involves daily contact that allows us to foster personal connections and strong relationships with refugees and members of the local community. Due to our location and daily contact with local refugees, we are acutely aware of their needs and able to quickly respond to emergencies.
CRP is located in the Hashemi Shamali neighborhood in East Amman. It is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
