· Product safety and efficacy
Since 1954, the Clarins Group has used its unrivalled expertise in the field of beauty to produce the safest, most effective products that deliver genuine results.
The Clarins Group has always made safe use a number-one priority and, believing in the true efficacy of plants, has no ingredients of animal origin in its formulas. All raw materials are monitored by on-going quality controls and their safety is proven using the most reliable test methods. Each supplier is also rigorously audited.
A computerised identification system bar codes every ingredient involved in the production process to ensure total traceability and safety, and each product carton is printed with the number of months a product is safe to use once opened. Feedback is invaluable and Clarins encourages consumers to express their views by filling in the questionnaire, or Client Card, included in every product. The comments we receive back are the very source of our inspiration and they enable us to develop and update formulas and products to more effectively meet consumer needs.
As a result a relationship of trust has developed between Clarins and its consumers, which recognises the Group’s capacity for innovation and the rigorous standards adhered to in its manufacturing process.
• Sensory Test Panel: ensuring sensory pleasure as well as results
A panel of twenty individuals selected and trained by Clarins meet at Clarins Research Centre once a week to evaluate and compare products. This panel helps to ensure that each product is a pleasure to use in every way, that it has a truly seductive texture and fragrance and looks and feels great on the skin.
• Cosmetovigilance: monitoring adverse consumer experience
In close collaboration with the Customer Relations department at Clarins headquarters in Paris, any adverse experience with our products is monitored and closely analysed to reassure consumers of Clarins commitment to safe-use.
