CJZ has developed an international reputation as an innovative and eclectic production company.

CJZ is a merger of Cordell Jigsaw Productions and Zapruder’s Other Films, two leading independents. The company is now Australia’s largest independently owned producer specialising in original content across all genres. In December 2013, it acquired major NZ production company Greenstone TV creating an independent international production group. The combined catalogue of CJZ and Greenstone now provides the group with a slate of high quality and depth in the international market.

Signature programs include popular factual series Bondi Rescue (Ten), Gruen Planet (ABC) and the ground-breaking Go Back to Where You Came From (SBS) that won the 2012 Rose d’Or as the best television program in any genre and recently won for an International Emmy Award in the Non-Scripted Entertainment category.

CJZ’s principles are Nick Murray and Michael Cordell who between them have decades of television and media experience. The company has fostered a collaborative and creative culture where some of the industry’s leading producers, writers and performers thrive and flourish.

CJZ produces for commercial networks, public broadcasters, free-to-air and cable. Genres span factual, entertainment, drama and comedy programming.
