CIDAN Machinery is a company group within the sheet metal industry. CIDAN Machinery, formerly known as Petersen Machinery, was in fact established as Göteneds Mekaniska Verkstad AB already 1907 in Götene, Sweden. The CIDAN Machinery Group consist of CIDAN Machinery Sweden AB (headquarter), Forstner Maschinenbau GmbH, CIDAN Machinery Denmark A/S, CIDAN Machinery Inc. (USA), and CIDAN Machinery Shanghai Co. Ltd. (China). CIDAN Machinery has grown rapidly over the last few years and have a solid reputation and market share, especially in North America and Northern Europe. Forstner was acquired at the year-end 2017-2018. The developed product areas power folders and mechanical shears are produced in Sweden and are marketed and sold under the brand names Göteneds and CIDAN in more than 30 countries worldwide. The products for coil processing, such as cut-to-length and slit-to-width lines, are developed and produced in Austria from 2018 and sold with the brand name Forstner. The products are sold through own sales companies and distributors around the world. Applications are end-customers working with sheet metal, such as industrial applications and roofers & Architectural.
