Business Group On Health

We are the nation’s only non-profit organization devoted exclusively to representing large employers’perspective on national health policy issues and helping companies optimize business performance through health improvement, innovation and health care management. Members are primarily Fortune 500 companies and large public sector employers — including the nation's most innovative health care purchasers — who provide health coverage for more than 55 million U.S. workers, retirees, and their families. Many have operations worldwide and participate in our Global Business Group on Health (SM). Its approximately 420 members, including 70 of the Fortune 100 companies, provide health coverage for more than 55 million U.S. workers, retirees and their families. Business Group members are actively engaged in pursuing solutions to controlling health care costs, improving patient safety and quality of care and sharing best practices in health benefits management.
