BAZZAR: THE FASTEST WAY TO TASTE BRAZIL It all started in 1998 with a restaurant in the heart of Ipanema that offered refined Brazilian cuisine. In a very short period of time, it was widely acclaimed by the press and critics. Bazzar was considered "freshly innovative" in terms of food and service, with a farm-to-table approach, which was very unusual at the time. "After the success of the restaurant, there was a great demand from our customers to open new branches in other states, but we did not want to lose quality or focus", says Cristiana Beltrão, Chief Brand Officer of the group. And so began the Bazzar factory: from the need to take the experience of the restaurants to the homes of our customers. Located in Rio de Janeiro, BAZZAR FOOD GROUP showcases an intense passion for quality. With products developed by chefs that choose the best available ingredients in a country where both nature and agriculture are extremely rich, we aim to create "ready to eat" gourmet solutions for our customers. We have a variety of sauces for fish & seafood, meat, poultry, salad, and cheeses. For something a bit sweeter, we offer traditional Brazilian ready to eat desserts, fruit, caramel, and chocolate sauces, as well as chocolate fondue. We also produce roasted and ground coffee (regular and decaf) from one of the most highly regarded and award-winning coffee farms in our country. The quality, the charm, and the "Brazilianness" of our products have meant that we were chosen for the gondolas of La Grande Epicerie at Le Bon Marché in Paris, one of the major department stores in the world, which started our export efforts. Bazzar is presently exporting to the US, Finland, Portugal, France and England in addition to our presence in more than 800 points of sale throughout Brazil.
