Axo Light is one of the most dynamic companies in the rich and complex world of Italian design. Created in the inland Venice area in 1996, from the outset it combined Italian passion for design with a strong international focus and soon became one of the leading companies in the high quality indoor lighting sector. Inspired by the Venetian tradition of glass making, Axo Light has explored the widest possible range of working methods and innovative materials among which crystal, fabric, ceramics, metal, cast aluminium and injected ABS. The partnership with Karim Rashid has given birth to the Nafir collection, winner of Good Design Award 2012 and Interior Design Best of Year 2012 Honoree. Nafir has also been finalist at the Spark Product Design Award 2012 and it has been nominated to the GDA - German Design Award 2014. Within the other Axo Light collections, Muse is the winner of Good Design Award 2009; Rythmos is finalist for the Interior Design Best of Year Award 2013 and Spiry is the winner of the Good Design 2013. On 2015 Axo Light has started a cooperation with Dima Loginoff, rising star of the Russian design, who created the Mountain View collection that won the Interior Design Best of Year Award 2015. Axo Light offers two extremely striking lines to suit any environment, whether modern or traditional, public or private.
