AxoSim’s mission is to leverage our 3D Nerve-on-a-Chip (TM) technology to accelerate the development of safer, more effective therapies. Our diverse team of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs are committed to tackling critical problems in pharmaceutical research. AxoSim pioneered a 3D cell-based platform that looks and acts like a real nerve. Using advanced tissue engineered techniques to mimic neurological tissue, we facilitate high content screening of drugs that is both faster and more predictive than animal testing and cell-based models. Currently, AxoSim is developing numerous disease models for neurodegenerative diseases. Multiple Sclerosis and similar demyelinating disease represent the newest additions to our growing portfolio of Nerve-on-a-Chip (TM)services.
