The online home for every UK public art collection, we're a charity on a mission to open up art for enjoyment, learning and research. We do this through digitising artworks, telling the stories behind the art and creating exciting opportunities for public interaction with art both online and offline. Art UK features over 240,000 paintings, sculptures and works on paper by over 40,000 artists. These artworks are in museums, universities, town halls, hospitals and other civic buildings across the UK.
