Description
Information
Alps (Advanced Level Performance Systems) is the national training and data organization for post-16 education; we work with almost 1,500 schools and colleges, representing over 70% of the A Level entries in England. We use the national Department for Education dataset to inform our value added A level, AS level, and BTEC reports. In addition to our ‘standard’ value added reports, we also produce a wide range of reports that schools and colleges use to drive forward quality – these include Teaching Set, High Grades, Gender and Ethnicity, among others. Our student and departmental targets and analysis are based on performance nationally of the top 25%, ensuring an aspirational culture of achievement and success. We also deliver training to schools and colleges in post-16 improvement – last year we held sessions in over 500 schools across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, in addition to the nine national conferences we delivered.
