Agricultural University of Georgia, established in 1929, has recently become the premier higher education in Georgia. In 2011 The Knowledge Fund took over the university. The fundamental changes realized by new management methods and the team, and huge investments in hard and soft infrastructure, enabled the University to become a modern, high-quality education and research institution. The university’s rapid progress is widely recognized in Georgia. The performance of its entering freshman class on the unified national exams placed Agricultural University of Georgia in second place out of more than 60 universities in the country. The university offers education on all level of education starting from the vocational education, and ending with PhD programs. There are 4 undergraduate/bachelor degree programs; 2 masters programs and 2 doctoral programs run by the Agricultural University. There are 15 research institutions, 4 scientific collections, 30 laboratories and 3 independent laboratories under the Agricultural University of Georgia.
