ABR Telecom

The ABR Telecom plays the role of administrative entity of number portability in Brazil, as determined by resolution of Anatel. As administrative entity, the ABR Telecom makes the management of the whole process of portability, ensuring, in conjunction with operators, the implementation of this service to over 200 million users of fixed and mobile telephony. Among the main responsibilities of Administration are: • Providing a technology solution that enables portability, with the development and deployment of the National Database of Reference of numbers ported (BDR); • Ensure the operation and update the BDR; • Act in relationship with Anatel, providers, and suppliers, ensuring the transparency of the process and the correct access to data related to portability. • Perform the allocation and management of access to the Operators Database - BDR.
