Established in 2001 by current CEO, James Palmer, 9 has grown to become one of the leading UK business telecommunications providers. From day one, customers have been at the heart of our business at 9. Our growth is a result of listening to the changing needs of our customers and working with them to provide sensible solutions. During the past 16 years, 9 has grown by acquiring other telecommunication, IT and print businesses, including Shipton communications, which means we can date our heritage back to 1894 and the very dawn of the telephone age. In recent years, the growth of our business has been underpinned by an expansion from traditional telephony to encompass internet connectivity, modern cloud based technology, IT services and managed print solutions. Business and technology is changing at a potentially bewildering pace, but 9 will continue to develop new products and services that enable the modern office to focus on their core issues, without the distraction of managing multiple technology vendors.
