54Freedom was founded in 2007 by CEO, Jim Griffin, a very successful Wall Street executive.

The Company first targeted the 54 million people with disabilities in the USA who were not able to obtain life, health, or accidental death & dismemberment insurance. Coverage existed, but not without exceptions being applied. 54 Freedom worked with top insurance providers and industry leaders to provide products that specifically met the needs of this group.

In 2009 the Company developed a new Gift Annuity product targeting Seniors and retired Boomers. The Company serves the needs of three groups who participate in its proprietary 54 Freedom(SM) Gift Annuity transaction: donors who make donations and receive payments from annuities, planned giving professionals of not for profits (which receive donations), and the independent life insurance agents and financial planners who help distribute product.

54Freedom provides marketing support to the insurance agents who distribute the 54Freedom(SM) Gift Annuity product, nationwide. It also provides fund raising services to affiliated Charities.
