Founded in 1949, Maritime Travel Inc. has grown from a single storefront to become the largest independently owned travel agency in Canada. With over 100 retail locations from coast to coast—operating under the names Maritime Travel, LeGrow’s Travel (in Newfoundland and Labrador), and Voyages Maritime (in Quebec and Northern New Brunswick)—we serve travelers nationwide with personalized service and expert advice. Our journey includes strategic growth through acquisitions, including The Bay Travel in 2002 and ATCO Travel in 2010, expanding our reach and enhancing our services across the country. We’re proud to employ over 500 travel professionals, many of whom have been with us for more than a decade. Our team is supported by competitive compensation, ongoing training, and the latest travel technology to ensure top-tier service for both leisure and business travelers. Maritime Travel is consistently recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and a Best Employer in Canada—honors that reflect our commitment to excellence in both customer service and workplace culture. As a fully integrated travel company, we specialize in developing, packaging, marketing, and distributing a wide range of travel services tailored to meet the needs of today’s travelers.
