Icons of design and performance, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove define excellence in food preservation, cooking, and dishwashing. Designed and engineered to last for decades, our brands carry forward standards established more than 80 years ago. Rooted in precision, craftsmanship, and uncompromising performance, they support how people cook, gather, and live. Our story began when founder Westye Bakke sought a reliable way to store life-saving insulin for his young son. That urgency sparked a breakthrough in refrigeration and led to the founding of Sub-Zero Freezer Company in 1945. Bakke's commitment to quality continues under third-generation family leadership today. The addition of Wolf brought professional-grade cooking into the home, drawing on decades of commercial kitchen expertise. Cove completed the kitchen suite with dishwashers developed through extensive testing to deliver exceptional cleaning and drying performance. Together, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove elevate everyday living and entertaining. Chosen for the world’s finest homes, our appliances combine purposeful design with performance, so every kitchen becomes the heart of the home.
