Petit Ermitage isn’t just a boutique hotel, it’s a series of escapades, curated on a daily basis to transport you from the pedestrian to the extraordinary. An intimate sanctuary in West Hollywood, the 79 all-suite property is walking distance to the infamous Sunset Strip and less than a mile from Beverly Hills. Put yourself at ease on the Private Rooftop—home to creative thinkers who are willing to share their music, art and camaraderie with international travelers who cherish hospitality in the European tradition. Considered one of the most coveted premiere private spaces in Los Angeles, the rooftop boasts 360 degree views of the Hollywood Hills, complete with a saltwater pool surrounded by kumquat trees, an outdoor dining garden recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Butterfly and Hummingbird Sanctuary, an outdoor living room replete with Turkish carpets and roaring fireplace, and an interior bar and lounge host to innumerable weekly musical performances and art exhibitions. Contemplate your navel, your neighbor’s navel, or the private connoisseur-class art collection. Petit Ermitage is a gallery for the owners’ private art collection, with over 150 works of art adorning the walls including pieces from the 17th century to contemporary artists. The collection, which includes Miro, DeKooning, Erte, Rauschenberg and Dali, complements the interiors, which feature hand-painted walls, elegant woodwork, graffiti and other contributions from various artists-in-residence. Take sanctuary inside your own spacious personal pied-a-terre, draped in the exotic warmth and sophistication of the globe well-traveled. Disappear into a custom mattress or stretch out in front of your private en-suite fireplace. And when you awake, enjoy sunrise yoga and meditation back on the rooftop. Whether you are a working artist (or non-working) or a business traveler who loves beautiful things, we invite you to come take refuge with us.
