Advisor @ Manifold From November 2017 to January 2018 (3 months) Greater Boston AreaDirector of Engineering @ Kyruus From July 2013 to May 2016 (2 years 11 months) Software Engineer @ Kyruus From January 2012 to July 2013 (1 year 7 months) Software Quality Co-op @ EMC From June 2002 to December 2004 (2 years 7 months) Director, Engineering @ Manifold Manifold is an AI engineering company. Global companies partner with us to build intelligent software products faster. Our Healthcare customers span pharma, med device, health IT, and payer. Our High Tech customers span electronics, networking, wireless, and streaming media. Our team members join us from leading tech companies, venture-backed startups, and PhD programs Greater Boston AreaSoftware Engineer @ HubSpot HubSpot is an Inbound Marketing Software platform that enables business to manage all aspects of the marketing funnel within one solution. HubSpot aids companies by allowing them to increase traffic through SEO, convert traffic into leads, nurture leads to become more qualified prospects, and convert those leads into customers. In addition, the platform provides robust analytics to help marketing professionals understand performance of marketing campaigns. My role at HubSpot was focused on enabling the engineering organization to scale without having to proportionally scale a quality organization. Along with ensuring critical product areas achieved a high level of quality, I was responsible for ensuring the execution of unit tests in Jenkins and creating integration test frameworks and practices to enable engineers to take responsibility and ownership of their testing and quality. I was responsible for developing and providing metrics to engineering management for the quality of the organization. Towards the end of my tenure at HubSpot, I worked on the development of our Marketplace and Billing APIs. From October 2009 to January 2012 (2 years 4 months) Sr. Software Engineer @ EMC At EMC, I was part of the Resource Management Software Group. This group contained both Storage Management software and Network Management software. The Storage Management Software main solution offering was EMC ControlCenter, enabling enterprises to manage their complex multi-vendor SAN. The Network Management Group main product was SMARTS – a network root cause analysis system that detects alerts and attempts to roll them up to a major root cause. My responsibilities for the ControlCenter product included testing a variety of the functionality in the platform and building tools to reduce the burdens of tests. After EMC acquired SMARTS, my role shifted to leading automation efforts in a project to combine our ControlCenter technology with SMARTS root cause analysis. Towards the end of my tenure, I lead a team to combine SMARTS technology with Microsoft Operations Manager. From December 2004 to October 2009 (4 years 11 months) VP, Engineering @ Kyruus Kyruus is a healthcare startup working with large hospital systems to connect patients with the right provider. Kyruus works with health systems to create a single source of truth for their provider data, enhance it with clinical information, and provide that same information to many different settings in charge of managing patient care coordination. In my five years at Kyruus, I held a variety of roles, from individual contributor to management, that saw Kyruus go from product MVP to a product that can repeatably sell and implement in the market. As VP of engineering, my focus is running the engineering for our customer facing product development teams. I am responsible for working with my product counterpart to tie strategic goals to the engineering organization, balancing the tradeoffs between current initiatives across the organization and coordinating cross team efforts, defining and driving the architectural vision with the Chief Architect, recruiting and retaining engineers / management, and evangelizing engineering process/ culture and success to the entire team.
