I worked on the development and optimization of therapeutic approach of cardiac gene and cell delivery in multiple animal and cell models to investigate the effects of the insulin-like growth factor-1Ea (IGF-1Ea) in cardiac pathophysiology. I provided clear indications of the therapeutic potential of this compound.
