I'm part of the product development at team at FocusVision where I work to create and manage a Ruby on Rails/Ember.js market research platform. Before that, I studied at Epicodus where I learned Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and Ember.js while practicing pair programming. Every week I built projects, developed apps and learned how to think programmatically. Previously, I studied international relations and politics as well as worked in Congress, for two think Tanks and for a lobbying firm. As I was finishing my dissertation, I was drawn to programming because I wanted to be able to see ideas put into action.

Specifically, I analyzed Russian military modernization, Caucasian energy dependence and the role of American diplomacy in central Asia.
