Graduated from the main schools of Networks and Telecommunications in Toulouse (at the heart of the French Aerospace-Industry), I am keen on the Internet and all the technologies related to. Along my career, I developed a core interest in the wide field of Cyber-Security. This includes, among other things, Identity management, control and propagation, ciphering, fault tolerances, firewalling, web application firewalling, DDOS mitigations, web content filtering, patch management life-cycle, penetration testing, etc.
Nowadays I am driving my professional project towards a mix between Project Manager, Solution Architect, Security Expert and/or Integrator, in accordance with the needs and the states of the projects. While I keep reinforcing my technical skills on a daily basis, I am now developing my Pre-Sales abilities.
So far I mainly addressed Telecom and Internet Service Providers, but I am also willing to embrace other industries such as Banking and Major Accounts. As a matter of fact, I will always be highly motivated by the projects I am facing as long as they include high added-value and require high-level technologies.
Project Manager / Security consultant @ As a project manager I’m in charge of establishing and maintaining good relationships with partners and providers while focusing on our first objective which is above all is our clients’ satisfaction. I’m the interface between BT, our customers, partners, providers and third-parties for the projects I drive. Achieving such a thing presumes I also ensure the respect of "what has been sold" in the agreed time; in other words: "do it right at the first time for what we sold". Among others I have the responsibility of:
- Planning (agreed with customers, partners, providers and third-parties),
- Planned and final variable margin ( internally agreed),
- Materials, licenses, etc. orders,
- Resources booking,
- Meeting minutes,
- Escalades (if necessary).
As a security consultant, I can bring expertise on existing projects for optimization reasons, train colleagues on various technologies like Fortinet for instance. However my main mission is essentially to participate with the development of the Security Offers portfolio of BT Global Services around Toulouse (South of France) and its area. Thus I essentially participate as a pre-sale to commercial offers and then present our solutions to our customers. After what, in the case of won offers, I will drive the delivery teams and ensure we produce what we sold and maintain an high-level customer's satisfaction; typically I become back a Project Manager. - Documentation From June 2008 to August 2008 (3 months) Toulouse Area, FranceSystem and Network expert - Internship @ ** First objective: Specify, design, integrate, test and produce all associated documentation of the future WiFi Access points that will be used by TSF during the next emergency missions; both hardware and software parts were submitted to very strict requirements in terms of robustness and resiliency.
After several researches and comparative studies I drove my choice with one Routerboard device manufactured by the Mikrotik company for the hardware part (http://routerboard.com/pdf/rb500ugM.pdf) and OpenWrt for the system part (https://openwrt.org/). Note I also could negotiate the price with Mikrotik including all the accessories to build an out-door access point prototype, thus I join to TSF to express all our sympathy here.
At this state of the progress of OpenWrt project (version Kamikaze 7.0x), I worked with the community to stabilize the SDK and integrate a fully suitable Perl interpreter with all the modules required to deploy an home-made wireless captive portal.
As a result, TSF could enjoy a robustness WiFi access point (802.11a/b/g/s), perfectly adapted to emergency missions anywhere in the world (Power-over-ethernet, waterproof packaging supporting low and high temperatures and humidity, customizable antenna, swiss-army knife operating system highly-customizable).

** Second objective: Stand ready to intervene at any time, according to the news, in humanitarian crises in which TSF decides to intervene. Hence I was led to participate in the mission in Mozambique at UNICEF's side due to heavy floods in February 2007.
