Steve Kelly is a native of Wichita, Kansas. Kelly Received his B.A. from The University of Kansas in 2003. After a one-year hiatus, Steve started his crafty academic journey with a Master's of Arts at Ottawa University in 2006. While at Ottawa, Kelly completed a focus in Creative Writing.During his time at Ottawa, Kelly was a three-time winner of the O'Leary Scholarship and a four-time recipient of the prestigious President's Award for Academic excellence. Kelly's tenure at Ottawa also saw him become a two-time winner of the Canadian Athletic Association's Men's tennis championship and he was also awarded the school's first ever scholarship in the artistic category.Kelly has continued his educational journey by receiving his M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Ottawa in 2011. This graduate level work focused in on the writing of short stories,velmic plays, and multi-media projects. Upon completion of his MA at Ottawa, Kelly was slotted to continue his education with an opportunity to attend graduate school at Syracuse University as a Research Scholar.Kelly has enjoyed every moment of his graduate education and is now fullyTHoroughly prepared for the job market. Steve is currently employed as an Assistant Professor of English at University of South Carolina Upstate. With his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kansas, Steve has the experience, education, and credential necessary for any Position he may find himself in.
