Pallas consist out of data from many systems and stores, which eventually leads to a total datawarehouse environment. From this data warehouse the business is being supported with different reports.
Pallas Communication is part of the Bussiness Intelligence Factory (BICC), which consists out of the (Business Intelligence Delivery Center) and BISC (Business Intelligence Service Center). Pallas Communication is the internal name for the BISC, the activities revolve around three different tasks: ad-hoc quering, support and maintenance.
Ad-hoc quering of non-standard reports in case the requested data is not available in any of the standard reports. It also revolves around supporting the business with question regarding different values or explanation of definitions. Last but not least is the maintenance task in which process disruptions are fixed so that data will be available (in time). This also exists out of creation and implementations of service improvement plans.
To be able to do these activities you need to do them analytically and structured. Next to this good communication skills are appropriate, due to the fact you need to communicate with the business. From April 2013 to August 2014 (1 year 5 months) Reception Desk Employee @ The reception desk is the first thing people see when they walk in to a place. At the HZ this was the same.
The work mostly involved administrative work, from company cars to incoming mail. As well as receiving guest who have appointments and answer incoming call. This course reader consists out of a planning schedule for the course and the learning topics needed for students to pass the course. The course for which the course reader had been finalized consists out of the last course in the learning curve, and thus consists out of the endlevel needed to pass the learning curve and start working (or graduating) in the field of Business Intelligence. From September 2012 to January 2013 (5 months) Trainee at Working Tomorrow practice Business Intelligence @ Research topic involves Mobile Business Intelligence, trends and expectations, the way it is used within the current market and in what way Logica can profit from this element of Business Intelligence. Eventually this should result in a demo of a Mobile Business Intelligence application, this has been created in Qlikview from Qliktech.
