I am a really curious and passionate software engineer. I never think there are only one solution for a problem and there are no problem without solution, the matter is how fast and efficient we can reach a solution. I am always interested in learning from my own experiment as well as my colleagues.
I love being challenged as well as overcoming the challenges. Through them I can harden my skills at the same time utilized them for the products I am working on. Whether it is small or big, I put all my heart into the work. Even though there is no one without mistakes, I learned from them and remind myself to do better and better.
Beside the programming and building software, I enjoy being outside with my camera, playing sport or hanging out with my friends.
Software Developer Engineering @ + Changing the way people see and use Platform As A Service, the team I am working on try to provide solution to Big Data Problem ranging from Infrastructure, Platform to Solution and Analytics.
+ Our goal is any Big Data system (HDP, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Spark,...) can be easily deployed, reducing the effort to build infrastructure for solution to be deployed and provide performance analysis.
+ With Hadoop HDP as a first target, our ecosystem can deploy a cluster with full stack HDP ready to be consumed in a single click along with performance monitoring.
+ I also work as DevOps to test and integrate our solutions onto the platform.
+ Take leadership when needed, help team overcome roadblock in design and implementation.
+ Develop using Java, Jetty/Jersey, Hibernate, Chef.
+ Keyword: PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, OpenStack, Docker, ElasticSearch, HSP, HDP. From August 2014 to Present (1 year 5 months) Technician @ As a small local IT company in San Jose area. I worked as a technician to provide desktop support as well as IT services for client companies. My task including on-call support and server maintaining for our company's client. From January 2009 to October 2013 (4 years 10 months) Research Assistant @ Along with the opportunity to visit Japan, I participated in a project lead by professor Kobayashi Takashi about improving efficiency in software development. The research focused on the ability to predict developing pattern of a project so that the developers can quickly decide what artifact from the project they need to move on. My task was to develop a translator for XML-formatted activity recorded by Mylyn in Eclipse, so that the event history is readable by the engine developed by my professor. From there we evaluate how well our engine performed as well as how accuracy Mylyn recorded the activities. From June 2013 to August 2013 (3 months) Tokyo, JapanVolunteer @ From 2011 to 2012 (1 year)
