IT Supply Chain Systems Project ManagerLead IT Project Manager @ Lead IT Project Manager responsible to the programme for the development, commissioning and testing of a new automated boxed KNAPP KiSoft WCS/WMS solution. The M&S Bradford facility is the largest logistics automation project currently being commissioned in the UK. My key deliverable is the successful delivery of the build, test and commissioning of the complete mechanical handling solution. Managing a team of internal and contract resource, and responsible for the electro-mechanical, software, throughput acceptance and cutover to ‘Business As Usual’ of the complete automation system. I have ownership and deliverables across all test phases, with specific deliverables for FAT, SIT, VPT, UAT, cutover and triage support phases. The MHE design features a high level of automation for goods-in, decanting, storage, picking and dispatch, with KNAPP's OSR Shuttle technology forming the heart of the intralogistics systems. Norbert Dentressangle are the selected 3PL partner on behalf of M&S for the design, commissioning and operation of the new 1million sq.ft Bradford NDC. Bradford is integral to the single tier network initiative to commission two new automated Regional Distribution Centres to operate within the strategic M&S single tier supply chain network. Due to Go Live in Spring 2016, the site will distribute boxed General Merchandise to the M&S Depot and store network.
