I graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in June 2012. As part of my graduation requirements I had the privilege of doing an internship with Blue Microphones, where I got my introduction to the intersection of audio and consumer electronics.
In addition to my formal education, I have over 7 years of freelance experience in live sound. My experience encompasses a variety of productions, from small concerts to 5-day long conferences. I've worked with small 16-channel analog consoles, mixed IEMs and FOH using the VENUE platform, and recorded and mixed on SSL 4000G+ and API Legacy consoles. I appreciate using vintage analog gear and the newest digital innovations to attain the best sound for a situation.
At home I have a $16,000 professional 5.1 monitoring system consisting of an Anthem processor, Focal Solo 6 Be's + Sub 6, IsoAcoustics monitor stands, and acoustic panels by Next Acoustics. My Mac is loaded with ProTools 10, Logic Studio 9, and a modest collection of plugins.
Available instruments: M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, SWR Bass 750 head (pre-Fender), and a GK Backline-II 410 cab. My mic locker includes selections from Blue, Audix, Heil, and Shure.
My technology portfolio includes foundational classes in Computer Science, customer service and support analytics for the fastest-growing Hi-Fi speaker company in the world (Sonos), 3 years of Level II enterprise computer support for a research university, and additional freelance work.
