Hi, I'm Mario and I like less talk more rock, but I also like to talk, a lot. I like practicing sports (football, hockey, rock climbing, squash, volley ball, biking, etc.), I ride my bicycle to work, do hackatons, game jams, game design contests, open source (check out my github profile: https://github.com/marioizquierdo), play games, go out, stay in... I like so many things! I hate when things are not properly done, like expensive but bad restaurants, like windows 95 (even though sometimes I miss it), like Lost from sessions 3 to 6. I hate politics, I hate ugly design, I hate poor UX and I hate over-engineered code... I hate so many things! My great passion is game design. I love it because involves art, technology and business, and I don't have enough with just one of them. I realized about my great passion long time ago, while playing Doom for the first time in my old-school Pentium 75Mz. I designed a lot of home-crafted role games to play with my brother and friends, started programming at the age of 14, in order to do my own little games, and finally graduated in Computer Science. Now I make a living coding great stuff, but I still design and build games on the side.
