South San FranciscoSr. Manager, Global Compensation @ Adaptive Insights Created a mature Total Rewards function within Adaptive Insights to help stabilize the company’s attrition rates and then prepare the company for Initial Public Offering, resulting in an acquisition by Workday.• Developed Adaptive Insights’ Total Rewards Philosophy to create a mature, robust compensation program including performance management, merit and equity cycles, and benefits and perks packages.• Prepared the company for Initial Public Offering by partnering with an outside consulting firm to create an RSU program, among other projects and then post-acquisition, point-person for compensation integration work and on-going support for the business unit.• Partnered with senior leadership, finance, and sales operations to build, and continuously evaluate, robust sales incentive plans to help drive towards organizational goals and company KPIs.• Created and executed on a plan to bring all departments to a market-competitive position.• Drove content and preparation for Executive and Board of Directors meetings across all HR functions.• Regularly presented to the Executive leadership, company management, and the larger employee base on compensation programs, training, and the ongoing evolution of the company’s compensation-related initiatives.• Rebuilt the company’s internal job structure and career ladders and designed a biannual salary and equity program to better-enable Adaptive’s management to hire and retain key employees.• Assist HR team in other functions to drive towards HR strategy including benefits cost-benefit analysis, health care plan offerings, implementing a new ATS for the recruiting team, organizational design, and acting in a business partner capacity. Built and implemented a highly competitive Global Total Rewards program to support Machine Zone’s rapid international expansion and journey towards Initial Public Offering. Accomplishments include:• Created a Total Rewards Philosophy to assure successful recruitment and retention of our employees.• Built tools to create and manage the bi-annual merit and equity cycles and drive to the Total Rewards Philosophy; partnered with Executive leadership to provide compensation guidance.• Created an internal job structure, career ladders, and other tools to create an efficient and effective compensation experience.• Collaborated with HRIS team to design the compensation module and merit planning for Workday implementation.• Regularly presented to C-level and Executive staff regarding performance management and compensation programs.
