Provided policy and program administration for all SMITH companies in areas relating to employee relations, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action and diversity initiatives. Responsible for handling all employee relations issues supporting approximately 2500 employees, both internal and external complaints. Selected Accomplishments: 100% of formal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges against the Company resulted in finding of No Probable Cause. The Company received an average of 12 charges per year between 1995 and 1999 From February 1991 to December 1999 (8 years 11 months) Vice President, Human Resources @ EMCOR Government Services Orchestrated all aspects of the delivery of Human Resources, Safety and Security Clearance services for EGS and its affiliated companies with 2000+ employees in more than 25 states including policy and program development and implementation, employee relations, labor relations, talent acquisition, regulatory compliance, benefit administration, performance management and compensation program administration. Directed all responses to formal employment complaints ranging from worker’s compensation matters, state and federal DOL, EEOC, OFCCP, and legal communication.
