From July 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) London, United KingdomWebmaster @ EESoc is a student society for students in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at Imperial College, comprising over 1000 students.
I design and maintain the official website of the society. The website is running on a custom CMS I have built using PHP and mySQL, utilizing the Laravel web framework. The CMS is an all-in-one solution for club and societies. Besides creating posts and pages, email newsletters can also be composed and sent out to all of our members.
I also interface with the college's LDAP protocol to provide seamless log in to the member's area using one's college credentials.
I improve the process of renting lockers in our department by providing an intuitive web interface for our members to browse the availability of lockers and make immediate reservations upon payment via the Union shop.
