As a kid I loved taking apart any object I could get my hands on. My parents weren’t too fond of me breaking things —Yet, it was these design investigations that motivated me to study Mechanical Engineering. Initially I was simply curious of how objects came together and how they came apart. As I grew older I started wondering about manufacturing processes, materials and user-interaction to name a few. I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering on June 2014 and I’m still curious.
I’ve had multiple interdisciplinary internships in the past that help quench my curiosity, yet I still learn something new every day. With Lockheed Martin I worked on manufacturing development & integration, production operation, and industrial engineering. These internships filled in gaps that my Mechanical Engineering education didn’t cover regarding a products life cycle.
I’m currently working with Apple’s iPhone/iPod Product Design group where I continue to hone my strongest skill — Bringing ideas from paper to product.
