From May 2014 to Present (1 year 8 months) Hemel Hempstead, United KingdomSite Operations Manager @ Site Operations Manager June 2013- May 2014 Responsible for all aspects of the on-shift warehouse operation with a compliment of 19 Team Managers on both day and nightshift. Leading the team and setting challenging targets to deliver outstanding performance within their areas including absence, training, process and safety compliance and work efficiency/performance/cost. Included responsibility for medium and long term planning. From July 2013 to Present (2 years 6 months) Site Logistics and Transport Operations Manager @ I was promoted into this role. I had overall responsibility for the Logistics Operation at Chadwell Heath as well as the management of the M+S contract at the Hemel RDC, and reported directly into the National Logistics Manager Accountable for Safety, Quality Service and Cost ( Budget). The deliveries were Multi-drop peaking at around 360 delivery points a day across a 24 hour period. An average week would consist of around 2300 drops. From March 2012 to April 2013 (1 year 2 months) Coldstore Manager @ My Customers included Sainsburys, Morrisons, M+S , Waitrose , Lidls and Tescos aswell as the Dairy Crest Country life brand. I had overall responsibility for Safety ,Service, Quality and Cost ( Budget) and I reported into the Logistics manager. My staff compliment was 75 permanent staff and an agency pool of 40. From May 2010 to March 2012 (1 year 11 months) Operations Manager @ I was promoted into this role. My Main purpose was to lead a team of manages to willingly and enthusiastically deliver high performance beyond their previously held limitations in all aspects of their own individual job roles. Including attendance, training compliance and effectiveness, safety and work efficiency/performance. The Customer was M+S and I reported into the Warehouse manager. From 2007 to 2010 (3 years) Shift Manager @ I Worked to tight deadlines with the objective of delivering the plan across all disciplines of the Intake process, the pick process and the Outload process. My aim was to deliver productivity through people. I had a Team which I was accountable for including, absence , training, safety and work efficiency/performance. I reported into the operations manager. From August 2002 to April 2007 (4 years 9 months) Operations Manager @ I had total Responsibility for the day -to-day running of the operation. I had ownership of 4 site managers and 70 permanent staff. Average of 4 Kitchens installed a day. From 2001 to 2002 (1 year) Ran the business from inception. @ I started the business with a compliment of 30 staff , producing lounge suites / garden furniture for the local market. Business grew to compliment of 75 staff. I broke into the export market , exporting to Dubai and South Africa. Producing and peaking at an average of 170 lounge suites a month. I prided myself on quality and delivery- this was a successful and profitable business.
