Currently I am working at Cloud Sherpas as a Google Cloud Platform Developer. I have made the switch from Java to Python and AWS to Google Cloud.
My role at Click Travel as a Junior Software Developer. The main tasks are Java were all the processing is dealt with but this back end communicates with the HTML through web objects/wonder which is Apple Mac based.
I worked at Syscom Plc mainly data fixing customer's databases and communicating regularly on updates on how am doing. I had development work when I had spare time.
I had a full year developing desktop applications during my placement year at Infoterra using C#. Some of my software aided the users to sort workers into manageable groups and some back office applications were also created.

Cloud Platform Developer @ At Click Travel I used AWS and I have moved to Google App Engine. I have learnt the differences between them and how they work. I have needed to pick up new programming languages and learnt how the front-end of web applications work to a higher level. I have learnt Python and JQuery completely from scratch and learnt more about Javascript, CSS and HTML. This has made me more of an overall developer.
Outside of development responsibilities I have held meetings with clients to collect requirements and gave them project updates throughout. I have organised some of the project meetings and also managed resources whilst acting as Tech Lead for the majority of a large project. I have understood how to deploy projects through Google App Engine and how they work on clients systems. From November 2014 to Present (1 year 1 month) London, United KingdomJunior Developer @ ClickTravel specialises in corporate travel ranging from flights, hotels to ferries. When I started at ClickTravel I was doing back end Java development with HTML mainly in support. I have used my GIS knowledge from Infoterra to help ClickTravel. The company communicates with multiple travel channels receiving and sending xml’s within one transaction and booking details.
I have sinced moved to just development learning Domain Driven Design, Rest and JSon. We focus heavily on automated testing as we believe the company made the decision to focus heavily on testing. The company has changed a lot during my time. We used to create tasks that the product owner wanted with everyone in the company having input on features and new developments. From December 2012 to November 2014 (2 years) Birmingham, United KingdomJunior Support Programmer @ A promotion from previous job title which included more development. From April 2012 to December 2012 (9 months) Support Consultant @ Syscom specialised in ERP which is manufacturing software used in warehouses. During my time at Syscom I used the programming language ‘Progress 4GL’. This language is a database language like SQL but the language contains some object-orientated programming features. I mostly fixed customer’s data which had become corrupt and trying to figure out why, to prevent repeats in the future. I had small patches of development but mostly support, talking to customers directly. From April 2012 to July 2012 (4 months) Junior Software Developer @ Infoterra specialised in graphical information systems for the public sector within the UK. I worked here as a part of my placement year during my degree. The tasks i was given were to prepare files for presentations to demonstrate to customers, what the company’s products were capable of. When I presented prototypes I created to customers I would gain feedback which would then be used to improve my prototypes which would be integrated into their existing software once authorised. The company mainly created windows applications so I spend a lot of time on Visual Studio using the programming language C#. From July 2009 to June 2010 (1 year) Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
