And it wasn't simply system design or programming- Flomenberg had majored in electrical engineering at Penn State."I was getting really interested in computer science because it was sort of the theoretical sciences that were mathematically based," Flomenberg said. "It was a way to explore this area without having to worry about application."So while he majored in electrical engineering, Flomenberg also studied computer science and economics at Duke University, gaining a sweat on algorithmic thinking and analysis. Then, in 2010, he got his MBA from Harvard Business School.Now that he's back home in South Carolina, Flomenberg is all in on his studies.This semester, Flomenberg is majoring in business administration as part of the Clemson Elliott School of Business.But his main focus is on business education, not mechanics."In business school, you learn about how to do things, not about what the objects in your system are made of," Flomenberg said. "The goals that I'm trying to achieve in my courses right now are to be really comfortable with the business world, so that I can be an entrepreneur." Flomenberg plans to use his education to start his own business.But even if he never hits the small business market, his education will have shown him what he wants to do in life.Flomenberg immediately sees himself as an Entrepreneur, he is motivated by happiness and wanting to continuously improve in all areas of his life.He has a passion for learning and pushing himself to the top of his game.1. Jake Flomenberg had Summitt dental school degree.2. With his Summitt dental school degree, Flomenberg pursue his interest in going into dental surgery. He majored in dental engineering and computer engineering at Penn State, and then studied computer science and economics at Duke University.3.
