In this position I was responsible for the P&L of all events, the overall management of all events (Careerevent, Fair Careerevent, Technics Careerevent, Healthcare Careerevent, Research Careerevent and Mastersfair) including the educational programs, B2B & B2C marketing and the organization of all fairs together with my team. I was responsible for overall commercial delivery of the events department, the implementation of the B2B & B2C marketing for events and developing & implementing (long term) strategic plans for current and new (event) concepts. Besides that I was responsible for strategic partnerships and alliances for existing and new markets and new (fair) concepts. I was also responsible for the commercialization of fair concepts and/or specific fair components. As a member of the management team I was responsible for overall commercial delivery, for developing and implementing (long term) strategic plans for TMG Arbeidsmarkt (print, online and events) and I am playing an integral role in business development for TMG Arbeidsmarkt. The turnover of TMG Arbeidmarkt for 2013 is € 5.5 million. The past years, TMG has several major reorganisations. In my role, I have been closely involved in the reorganization of TMG Labour Market which started in 2011. This reorganization was initiated due to the fact that the new management of TMG had decided to stop with focussing on labor market communication. If last remaining MT member, I completed this reorganization. This included both performing dismissal procedures under the social plan as relocating employees to other positions within TMG. This entire process was completed as per January 1, 2014, and at that moment also my position stopped. From February 2008 to December 2013 (5 years 11 months) Fair Manager @ In this position I was responsible for the P&L of all events, the overall management of all events (Careerevent and Mastersfair) including the educational programs and the organization of all fairs together with my team. I was responsible for overall commercial delivery including sales. Within a period of two years, I managed to double its turnover to € 1.7 million. Besides that, I was responsible for the commercialization of fair concepts and/or specific fair components, production (of the associated print and internet products), the implementation of marketing (-communication), entering into strategic partnerships and alliances. In 2007 I was also responsible for the development and commercialization of the Traineeships year guide (first year I made a profit of € 30K). From 2006 to 2008 (2 years) Corporate Recruitment Manager @ In this position I was responsible at a corporate level for developing and monitoring the recruitment strategy, the labor market communication and employer branding. I was also responsible for the recruitment of candidates (all levels within the organization) and competency-based interviews. I trained the (line) management in competency based interviewing, and I coached new managers with selection interviews. In this position I made some changes in the recruitment process such as developing strategic partnerships with various recruitment agencies, the introduction of advanced recruitment methods including the construction of an assessmentcenter existing besides various psychometric instruments also various role plays. I also was responsible for the introduction and implementation of a new candidate management system. From 2003 to 2006 (3 years) Managing Consultant @ I was responsible for setting up BTS Science BV. This company was specifically focussed on the recruitment and headhunting of scientific personnel and HR consultancy assignments within the life sciences (biotechnology, pharmaceutical and healthcare) industry. Within a period of half a year this BV was profitable. I was also responsible for managing BTS Techniek BV, an already existing company specifically focussed on the recruitment and headhunting of Technical personnel. Besides recruitment, over 20 employees were seconded to various clients. Unfortunately the Holding went bankrupt in 2003. From 2002 to 2003 (1 year) HRM & Salary Consultant @ Setting up a HR part for this organization by drafting a business plan and formulate a vision. Additionally I was responsible for recruiting and also executing assignsments. Examples of assignments I have done are the replacement of the Human Resources Officer at Centocor BV and the implementation of a reorganization at Dexia Bank Netherlands BV because of its relation with the Bank Labouchere. From 2001 to 2002 (1 year) Manager Human Resources @ In this position I was responsible for all HR policies including the formulation and imple-mentation of social policies, initiating the development, implementation and adjustment of policies and informing the managers and staff officers about these policies. I was also responsible for the development of HRM tools, advising employees in the realization of their functional development, sickness absence monitoring, appraisal & rewarding and the department budget. Since Pharming was a rapidly growing organization, my work consisted in addition to regular HR work activities also recruiting new employees for all levels within the organization.
